well they normally have to wait a month longer than everyone else the korea herald issued a report that says due to the 5g infrastructure success this time round they will be ahead of schedule when it comes to the launch of the iphone 12. next up for those of you waiting on the 5.4 inch iphone 12.
we've got confirmation that it's not going to be called the iphone 12 but instead it's going to be the iphone 12 mini the confirmation came in the form of product stickers for some silicon cases and it was tweeted by dwan rui it says that the 5.4 inch case is now going to be called the iphone 12 mini the 6.1 is going to be the iphone 12 in the iphone 12 pro and the 6.7 inch is of course the iphone 12 pro max well.
the iphone 12 and the iphone 12 pro are gonna have different camera layouts the cases that will be exactly the same next up we've got launch details from john prosser while he has been wrong about a couple of leaks in the past when it comes to his launch and release dates he's normally spot on john prosser tweeted to tell us that.
the iphone 12 launch is going to be the 13th of october for those who want to pre-order you can put them in from the 16th and the iphone 12 is going to be available in stores on the 23rd of october so it's not long until we get to see it and finally get our hands on the iphone 12. finally and probably.
the news most of you wanted to hear is 120 hertz on the apple iphone 12. it's been a roller coaster of emotions with many saying that it wasn't going to happen but i'm here to tell you that it is of course i told you guys way back in july that.
the iphone 12 pro and the iphone 12 pro max would be getting a 120 hertz display and this was at a time when everyone else said it wasn't a source who's previously given me a lot of accurate info was telling me this so it was seeming very likely and we then had a screenshot leaked in august by john prosser proving such a test device existed but everyone said they were still having issues i'm now being told that 120 hertz is still happening with.
the iphone 12 pro and the iphone 12 pro max and according to everything apple pro what max wine back source also has an iphone 12 pro max in hand so hopefully we will get some evidence from them soon the promotion 120 hertz display is going to make a huge improvement and it's definitely going to differentiate the 12 pro and the 12 pro max from the more budget friendly models in the range of course as soon as i get some solid evidence of this i'll be sharing with you guys straight away but for anyone who wants the updated specs and design list for all four models of the iphone 12 we're gonna run through that now and of course if you haven't already then hit subscribe now and we're going to jump right into it so to start with it we've got the entry level model of the apple iphone 12 which we now know is called the iphone 12 mini it's a 5.4 inch iphone with an oled super retina display from samsung but it's important to note straight away that super retina means absolutely nothing so don't get too caught up on that but nonetheless it's going to be an oled display with a resolution of 2340x1080 and this gives us 475 pixels per inch it's got an 8-bit color depth and while there were rumors early on of all models having 120 hertz unfortunately the iphone 12 is only going to be 60 hertz it's gonna be equipped with four gigs of ram and it's going to come with a choice of 128 or 256 storage it's got an aluminium frame and while we do hope that it uses the a14 there are new rumors of a b14 chipset we've got 5g support for the iphone 12 mini and it comes with dual cameras on the rear and it will of course ship with ios 14. for those who want the full gig of ram with 128 storage it's launching at a price of 649 and if you want to upgrade to the 256 gig then it's gonna be 750. next up we've got the iphone 12 which was previously thought to be called the iphone 12 max the iphone 12 is going to be a 6.1 inch oled display and this is again a super retina oled display and we believe it's now going to be manufactured by samsung and lg as boe didn't pass the quality test it comes with a resolution of 2532 by 1170 and this gives us 460 pixels per inch and again we get an 8-bit color depth we get 4 gigs of ram and a choice of 128 or 256 storage and of course the iphone 12 is powered up by the a14 bionic chip it's got an aluminium frame 5g connectivity and we get a dual camera setup on the rear for those that want the 128 gig iphone 12 it's gonna be launching at a price of 749 and for those that want 256 gig it's gonna be 849. next up we've got the iphone 12 pro the iphone 12 pro also has a 6.1 inch display so it's actually the same size as the iphone 12 max but we do have an improved display in specs on the iphone 12 pro we've got a 6.1 inch super retina oled display with pro motion and 10-bit color depth the display is manufactured by samsung and has a resolution of 2532 by 1170 giving us 460 pixels per inch we are very hopeful of this 120hz pro motion display but it's still been unconfirmed and there are a few people saying this may not happen the iphone 12 pro comes with 6 gigs of ram and a choice of 128 256 or even 512 gig storage it of course ships with the apple a14 bionic chipset and the iphone 12 pro is 5g compatible it comes in a stainless steel frame and on the rear we get a triple camera setup along with a lidar sensor for depth for the 128 gig iphone 12 pro it's going to be 999 for the 256 it's 1099 for the 512 gig iphone 12 pro it's gonna be 1 299 last but not least we have the iphone 12 pro max the iphone 12 pro max comes with a 6.7 inch oled display again this is a super retina display and hopefully with pro motion we get a 10 bit color depth and of course it is manufactured by samsung it's got a resolution of 2778 by 1284 and this gives us 458 pixels per inch again we expect and hope it's going to be a 120 hertz promotion display but there are a few people saying otherwise it comes with six gigs of ram and 128 256 or 512 internal storage it's got a stainless steel frame and the iphone 12 pro max is of course powered by the a14 bionic chipset and this does have 5g support just like the iphone 12 pro we get three cameras on the rear along with a lidar sensor for those who want the 128 gig iphone 12 pro max it's going to launch at a price of 1099 if you want the 256 gig version it's 1199 and for those that want the most expensive in the range the 512 iphone 12 pro max is going to be launching at a whopping 1 399 of course it's not all about specs and we've already seen many improvements in the latest ios 14. the iphone 12 is set to launch in october for a change and it's usually on the second week and on a tuesday so my prediction is going to be the 13th of october but it could well be the sixth the phones are reportedly going to be releasing it 10 days after this event but they may be a staggered release instead of launching all of the models together but now we're much closer to launch it's
